Josh Fraughton - CEO

With 20 years of renewable experience starting as a system technician, Josh eventually oversaw and directed the O&M supply chain operations at First Solar from its early 800MW to 15 GW, this included managing all technical tracker issues including 3GW of First Solar Tracker manufacturing and services to keep these systems operating and fighting against obsoleting.

It was after years of these efforts that the realization his efforts to keep the original equipment working wouldn't work forever. Not only were obsoleting components putting systems at risk, but outdated system and rising costs of components weren't economical anymore.

From that realization was born the idea that is RenuTrak, diligently working with local and global partners to keep trackers moving.

From alternative OEM spares, new controls systems, rotational drives, and retrofits and repowers; we use our technical expertise and methodologies to eliminate points of failure, minimalizes installation and maintenance costs, and introduces tracker reliability back by blending proven technologies to breathe new life into old tracker systems and improving your bottom-line for years to come.

Our Story

From a composite book sketch idea of retrofitting a tracker while on a vacation in 2021, the seed that became RenuTrak was planted; a vision to provide retrofit solutions and alternative components and parts for aging tracker systems bring the latest operational capabilities and reliability back into tracker systems and keep them moving for decades to come.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

Sustainable solutions are our core. Our Patent Pending methodology for retrofitting complete systems can maintain up to 90% of the the original mechanical components (bearings, pile, torque tubes, module mounts) mean less labor, material costs, and most importantly waste. We carry that thru all of our retrofit products - making them as universal as possible, blending the old reliable components with new ones to engineer out well known failure points.

We truly believe what is good for the "pocket book" can be good for the plant as well.
